Adelie Penguin

The Adelie is the archetypical penguin, named after French explorer Dumont D’Urville’s wife. They are purely black and white, with a characteristic angular head, a distinctive white eye-ring, and a tiny bill. Females are smaller in size, but like all penguins, the sexes are alike.
